OmniAccess launches unified multi-orbit connectivity service

NextGen Fusion 2.0 enables seamless use of multiple satellite networks through a single subscription and shared data allowance

Palma, 28 May 2026. OmniAccess, a global leader in digital solutions for the cruise and yacht sectors, has launched NextGen Fusion 2.0, a new multi-orbit connectivity service designed to move maritime communications beyond traditional single-network and dedicated-capacity models.

As demand grows for uninterrupted streaming, cloud applications, remote working, guest services and operational connectivity, captains and managers are increasingly challenged by the complexity of operating across multiple satellite providers, service agreements, billing models and technologies.

Fusion 2.0 addresses this by combining leading LEO and GEO services into a single operational and commercial framework, allowing vessels to access multiple satellite carriers through one subscription and shared data allowance.

With a single subscription and data allowance operating seamlessly across multiple satellite carriers, Fusion 2.0 simplifies maritime connectivity while delivering global coverage, high-throughput performance, and resilient uptime. Designed for the evolving multi-orbit era, the solution also provides a future-ready framework for integrating additional LEO and MEO services as they become available.

Unlike traditional VSAT models, where service is tied to bandwidth or individual networks, Fusion 2.0 introduces a more flexible consumption-based approach, enabling vessels to dynamically use their data bundles across all available satellite technologies according to operational requirements and network availability, regardless of whether LEO or GEO.

Fusion 2.0 has been developed to give vessels greater flexibility in how they use emerging satellite services, while avoiding dependency on a single orbit or carrier strategy as the maritime connectivity market continues to evolve rapidly.
